Government disburses ₹36,754 crore under PLI schemes as on June 30
As of June 30, the Indian government reported that it has released 36,754 crore rupees to companies under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programmes. Launched in 2020, the PLI initiatives target fourteen priority sectors and were initially allocated a total budget of 1.91 lakh crore. The disbursement reflects ongoing support for domestic manufacturing and export growth.
