Relief work picks up in Visakhapatnam; first flood warning on Nagavali and Vamsadhara
Relief operations have intensified in Visakhapatnam following recent flooding. The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation reported clearing 102 of 112 uprooted trees and identified about 12 km of roads requiring repair. Home Minister Anitha urged local authorities to work with neighboring Odisha to manage water flow from the Nagavali and Vamsadhara rivers, where the first flood alerts were issued.
