Kedarnath generates 50.30 tonnes of waste in 5 months, 2.5 times more than last year
Kedarnath municipality reported that it produced 50.30 tonnes of waste during the first five months of the current year, a level 2.5 times higher than the same period last year. This amount also surpasses the total annual waste recorded in each of the previous three years, indicating a sharp rise in municipal solid waste generation.
