Andhra Pradesh Cabinet sub-committee steps in on onion, tur dal, palm oil prices; onions at ₹35 a kg
The Andhra Pradesh cabinet’s sub‑committee has taken action to curb rising prices of onions, tur dal and palm oil, noting that onions are now selling at about ₹35 per kilogram. It also directed the purchase of 10,000 metric tonnes of KNM rice from millers in Nellore, to be sold through special counters at lower rates.
