Walkers association alleges Cubbon Park land used for coffee shop; Dept. says land belongs to BMRCL
The Walkers association has accused authorities of allowing a coffee shop to operate on land that is part of Cubbon Park in Bangalore. The group says the establishment encroaches on protected green space. The city's department responded that the parcel is owned by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, not the park, and therefore falls under its jurisdiction.
