The Madras High Court asked the state DGP if every Tamil Nadu police station retains CCTV footage for the full 18 months required by Supreme Court and High Court orders. Justice V. Lakshminarayanan warned that even a minute less would breach those rulings and sought clarification on statewide compliance.
