Power crisis: KSEB to fast-track ongoing hydel projects, four small hydro projects to be completed by May 2027
Amid a power shortage, Kerala’s electricity board announced it will accelerate its current hydroelectric initiatives. Four small hydroelectric schemes, together providing 39.5 MW, are slated for completion between April and May 2027. The move aims to boost the state’s generation capacity and alleviate the ongoing energy deficit.
