Save the Children aid for 1.5 million in need wiped out by Iran war oil shock
Save the Children reports that funding for assistance to 1.5 million vulnerable people has been erased after the oil price shock caused by the Iran‑UAE conflict. The charity says the additional logistics expenses are comparable to operating 47 Afghan health clinics for half a year, straining its capacity to deliver essential services and jeopardizes health, nutrition and education programmes.
