Chennai Corporation prepares DPRs for upgrading 160 km of roads at ₹150 crore
The Chennai municipal corporation is drafting detailed project reports to revamp about 160 kilometres of city roads, budgeting roughly 150 crore rupees for the upgrades. Once the reports receive required clearances, tender invitations will be issued promptly, and the construction is slated to begin ahead of the upcoming Northeast monsoon season. The initiative aims to improve traffic flow and road conditions across the city.
