Ramanaidu tells irrigation officials to watch north Andhra rivers, regulate Pattiseema and Purushothapatnam pumps
Water Resources Minister Ramanaidu directed irrigation officials in north Andhra Pradesh to continuously monitor river conditions and control the Pattiseema and Purushothapatnam pump stations. He called for a round‑the‑clock war‑room operation as inflows to the Yeleru reservoir are expected to reach roughly 27,000 cubic feet per second. The first flood alert has been issued for the Vamsadhara and Nagavali rivers.
