Human-animal conflict in Keralam: Compensation for victims likely to be revised
India's Ministry of Agriculture indicated that the compensation scheme for people affected by human‑wildlife clashes in Kerala will probably be updated. The revision is expected to be disclosed following a state‑level conference on the issue scheduled for September 29 in Thiruvambady. Officials said the new package aims to address losses suffered by victims of such conflicts.
