India-EU FTA to be signed on December 16
India and the European Union are set to sign a free‑trade agreement on Dec 16, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s December trips to Canada, the United States and Belgium. The pact, which seeks to lower tariffs and deepen economic cooperation, comes as three other trade deals are being negotiated or await approval in those countries.
