Tamil Nadu Congress leader says he told Chennai Police about Veeramani scandal two years ago
M.P. Ranjan Kumar, head of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee’s Scheduled Caste Department, told The Hindu that he visited the Chennai Police Commissionerate on Nov. 22, 2024, to lodge a formal complaint. He said the meeting with a senior officer was to request investigation into alleged misconduct by Veeramani and his associate Shanthi, a matter he claims he reported to police two years earlier.
