Bihar Cabinet gives nod for setting up two universities
Bihar’s cabinet, led by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, approved the creation of two new universities: Mata Sita Women’s University in Patna and Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ University in Begusarai. The meeting, which made 24 decisions in total, marked a significant expansion of higher‑education infrastructure in the state. The move aims to increase access to tertiary education for students across Bihar, women, and to boost development.
