Elephant calf swept away in Teesta rescued by fishermen, reunited with mother
A baby elephant was swept into the Teesta River near the Teesta Barrage in West Bengal. Strong currents pulled it away from its herd while it was crossing the water. Local fishermen rescued the calf, and it was later reunited with its mother. The rescue was recorded on camera and shared by authorities for public.
