Agitation over TET for in-service teachers intensified in Andhra
Teachers' unions in Andhra Pradesh have escalated protests demanding the implementation of the Teacher Eligibility Test for current teachers. The Andhra Pradesh Unified Teachers Federation said its members will begin an open-ended hunger strike on September 4 to press the state government to conduct the exam and address related grievances. The hunger strike will continue until demands are met.
