Fake RCs, bank NOCs, and seals used to sell cars; 10 vehicles worth ₹2 crore seized in Bengaluru
Police in Bengaluru seized ten cars valued at about ₹2 crore after uncovering a fraud scheme that used counterfeit registration certificates, forged bank no‑objection certificates and fake seals to sell the vehicles. The investigation began when a resident of Umar Nagar lodged a complaint at Wilson Garden police station, claiming he had been duped in a car purchase.
