Scan, pay, collect: Kanaka Durga temple installs Andhra Pradesh’s first ‘laddu ATM’
At the Kanaka Durga temple in Andhra Pradesh, a pilot 'laddu ATM' has been installed at the base of Indrakeeladri. The machine accepts UPI payments and dispenses the sweet laddus to visitors. The state's Endowments Commissioner cautioned worshippers about counterfeit puja tickets and highlighted the upcoming Dasara celebrations. It is the first laddu-dispensing ATM in Andhra Pradesh, part of an effort to modernise temple services.
