Mamata demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar's arrest, fresh Bengal Assembly polls with pre-SIR voter list
Mamata Banerjee has called for the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and urged the scheduling of new West Bengal Assembly elections using a pre‑SIR voter list. She indicated that partners in the INDIA alliance have already discussed the issue, will meet soon, and aim to formulate a coordinated response.
