VACB launches inspections at Kerala State Sports Council, district council offices over alleged corruption, procedural violations in selection
Kerala’s Vigilance and Anti‑Corruption Bureau has begun a statewide probe, dubbed ‘Operation Kalikkalam’, targeting the State Sports Council and its district offices. The inspections follow a tip‑off alleging corruption and breaches of selection procedures. Director Manoj Abraham ordered the checks to verify claims of irregularities in the councils’ functioning. The operation will also inspect district councils’ recruitment and financial records for compliance.
