Australian airline Qantas will start operating nonstop flights between Sydney and New York in 2028, lasting about 18 hours. The service follows its planned Sydney‑London ultra‑long‑haul route slated for 2027. Cabins will feature dedicated ‘wellbeing zones’ with spaces for stretching, meditation and sleep, and productivity, aiming to improve passenger comfort during the lengthy overall journey.
