India begins anti-dumping probes against imports of Glycine chemical from China
India has opened an anti‑dumping investigation into Chinese imports of the chemical glycine. The Directorate General of Trade Remedies will examine whether these imports have caused material injury to domestic producers and may recommend countervailing duties. The Finance Ministry will make the final decision on any tariffs. If the investigation confirms dumping, duties could be imposed to protect local industry.
