Ethanol company sues Andhra farmer over pollution claims, seeks ₹1 crore compensation
Sentini BioProducts Pvt Ltd, an ethanol producer, has filed a lawsuit against farmer M. Muralidhar Reddy of Gandepalli village near Keesara in Andhra Pradesh’s NTR district. The company alleges the farmer made false statements about its operations causing pollution. It seeks ₹1 crore in damages, a public apology and a permanent court order preventing further remarks.
