Tribal varsity induction programme of IIT-Hyderabad, TISS courses held
IIT Hyderabad and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) launched a Tribal Varsity induction programme, offering courses to tribal students. The initiative, aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for tribal communities, saw the first cohort begin classes in Hyderabad. The programme includes academic and skill‑development modules tailored to the needs of tribal learners in 2024.
