CM Vijay launches expanded Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme
Chief Minister Vijay has announced an expansion of the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme. The widened program will cover approximately 1.53 million students in classes six to eight, operating in 15,454 government and government‑aided schools across the state. The government expects the meals to boost enrollment and reduce dropout rates. Implementation will begin in the upcoming academic term, funded through the state’s education budget.
