BJP wins six of seven mayoral polls in Rajasthan; Congress cries foul
The Bharatiya Janata Party won six of Rajasthan's seven mayoral contests, beating the Indian National Congress in Alwar, Udaipur, Pali and Ajmer, and seeing its candidates elected unopposed in Bharatpur and Bhilwara. The Congress secured only the Bikaner mayoralty and has alleged voting irregularities, calling for an investigation at the state election commission into the results.
