Good drivers may benefit from lower insurance premiums
The Indian government is considering a negative points system for drivers, aiming to increase accountability and road safety. Under the proposal, drivers with clean records could qualify for reduced vehicle insurance premiums, while those accumulating points for violations would face higher costs. The plan was outlined by Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in India in the near future.
