Odisha’s final electoral roll has 3.16 crore voters; 17.66 lakh names struck off
The Election Commission released Odisha’s final electoral roll, bringing the total number of registered voters to approximately 31.6 million. Compared with the draft roll of about 31.38 million, 2.9 lakh new names were added and 44,777 were removed after processing claims, objections and eligibility applications, resulting in a net increase of 2.46 lakh voters. Overall, roughly 17.66 lakh names were removed from the state's rolls during the cleaning process.
