BJP demands Telangana Govt to release Jurala water, large Ganesh idols entry on Tank Bund for immersion
India's BJP in Telangana urged the state government to release water from the Jurala reservoir to aid farmers hit by adverse weather and crop losses. The party also called for allowing large Ganesh idols to be placed on Hyderabad's Tank Bund for immersion ceremonies. Officials noted farmers are currently also facing delays in insurance payouts.
