City cycle project out of track in Kozhikode
Kerala’s Kozhikode municipal authorities have reported that the city’s bicycle initiative, launched in 2024 with a budget of Rs 1.75 crore, is lagging behind its intended timeline. The scheme, aimed at promoting women’s health and providing low‑cost transport across local wards, has faced implementation delays and is currently off track, officials said corrective measures are being considered to revive the program.
