Tamil Nadu bypolls: DMK urges Election Commission to cancel TVK’s list of star campaigners from other parties
During the upcoming Madurantakam and Dharapuram by‑elections in Tamil Nadu, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has asked the Election Commission to invalidate the list of prominent campaigners submitted by the Tamil Vanniyur Katchi (TVK). The DMK argues the list includes leaders from parties allied with TVK, which it says breaches electoral rules. The EC has not responded to the request yet.
