Police in Bengaluru confiscated expired medicines, injection vials and products falsely bearing multinational pharmaceutical labels, valued at about ₹3.38 crore. The operation highlighted alleged practices of repackaging low‑cost drugs and mislabeling them as premium brands. Officials said the seizure aims to curb counterfeit circulation and protect public health. The operation was led by the drug enforcement unit, which cautioned that such counterfeit supplies may endanger patients.
