USCIRF seeks sanctions against RSS, no high-level meetings with its leaders
USCIRF, the U.S. commission on international religious freedom, has called for sanctions against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, citing concerns over its activities. The commission’s chief made the remarks shortly before RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s planned visit to the United States, and officials said no senior U.S. officials will meet with RSS leaders during the trip.
