India’s Food and Drug Safety Authority revoked 16 pharmacy licences and suspended eight, including a Pfizer depot, after probing an unlicensed drug repackaging and relabelling operation found at a farmhouse in Bidadi, Bengaluru South district on August 18. The FSDA said the measures aim to enforce regulatory compliance and protect public health. The crackdown follows a department investigation into the racket.
