Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directs steps to mitigate impact of El Niño in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed state agencies to develop short‑ and medium‑term strategies to lessen the effects of the El Niño weather pattern, noting that Kurnool, Nandyal and Anantapur districts are most affected. He also ordered officials to monitor and keep stable the prices of staple items such as rice, onions, palm oil and red gram.
