Awareness meeting to limit human-sloth bear interactions in Nilgiris held
The forest department of the Mukurthi range in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve organized a meeting to discuss ways to reduce encounters between people and sloth bears in the Nilgiris. Local residents and nearby community members, including those from Manjoor, attended the session, which aimed to raise awareness and promote safety measures to prevent conflicts with the wildlife.
