Bengal likely to see heavy rain, gusty winds from September 22: IMD
The India Meteorological Department warned that a weather system moving toward the southern coast of Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh is expected to strengthen into a deep depression. The intensifying system could bring heavy rainfall and strong gusts to Bengal from September 22, while also generating rough seas and high winds across the Bay of Bengal.
