Hyena gave birth to two cubs at the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo
Two hyena cubs were born at Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, marking the first such birth at the facility. The zoo’s hyena population, along with jackals, marsh crocodiles and palm civets, were transferred from Shivamogga Zoological Park in Karnataka earlier this year. The newborns are expected to remain with the existing three hyenas at the Kerala zoo as part of a conservation program.
