II PU exam, marks card fee and others up by 50% from this academic year in Karnataka
Starting this academic year, Karnataka has raised the fees for the second‑year pre‑university (II PU) examinations by about 50 %. The increase applies to the marks‑card charge as well as related services such as re‑evaluation and duplicate certificates. The state government says the hike is needed to cover rising administrative costs, while students and parents express concern over the added expense.
