Over 28,000 families get land ownership rights after decades of wait in Visakhapatnam
More than 28,000 households in Visakhapatnam have been issued title deeds, granting them formal land ownership after many years of waiting. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the documents will allow owners to leverage their property for credit. He also pledged to resolve pending regularisation for roughly 22,000 additional families in the near future by the state government.
