Entire Bannerghatta Road to be white-topped: Krishna Byre Gowda
Karnataka minister Krishna Byre Gowda announced that the entire Bannerghatta Road will undergo white‑topping. He noted that recent Namma Metro and BWSSB projects had severely damaged the pavement, and earlier temporary asphalt repairs failed under heavy traffic. Consequently, authorities have decided to replace the surface with a full white‑topping treatment. The plan aims to improve road durability and reduce congestion for commuters.
