FTII Itanagar students suspend classes indefinitely after assault on students, faculty
The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) campus in Itanagar has halted all classes indefinitely after an assault on students and faculty. The institute’s student council said female students especially feel unsafe, citing repeated threats, unauthorised outsiders entering the campus and ongoing intimidation. The council called for immediate action to restore safety and ensure a secure environment.
