DGGI uncovers ₹115 Crore GST evasion across Andhra Pradesh hotels
India’s Directorate General of GST Intelligence reported that hotels in Andhra Pradesh concealed about ₹115 crore in goods and services tax. Authorities say the establishments consistently under‑reported the value of taxable supplies, recording sales far below the amounts actually received from guests. The agency said it will pursue legal action against the offenders.
