Jammu and Kashmir L-G flags off the Harmukh-Gangbal pilgrimage
The Lieutenant‑Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, inaugurated the Harmukh‑Gangbal pilgrimage route, calling Harmukh the ‘abode of Lord Shiva’. He said the journey symbolizes purity, devotion and unity in diversity. The ceremony marked the start of the annual yatra, which attracts devotees from across the region to the sacred mountain pass and is expected to boost local tourism.
