₹1 crore allocated to every constituency to tackle drought, drinking water scarcity: Manoj Jain
Manoj Jain announced that the government will allocate one crore rupees to each parliamentary constituency to address drought conditions and improve drinking‑water availability. The funding is intended to support local projects such as water‑conservation infrastructure, borewell rehabilitation and community supply schemes. Implementation will be overseen by state water departments and monitored for effective use.
