India, Bhutan commend progress in bilateral development cooperation
India’s foreign minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, met his Bhutanese counterpart to review and praise the growing bilateral development cooperation. The two sides discussed expanding collaboration across sectors such as energy, trade, infrastructure connectivity, cultural exchange and people‑to‑people contact. Both governments expressed commitment to deepen the multifaceted partnership and build on recent progress. They also examined projects in renewable energy and road links, aiming to accelerate implementation.
