Mamata, Ritabrata Trinamool factions allotted new party names, symbols by ECI
India’s Election Commission has officially designated separate identities for the two rival Trinamool Congress factions. The group led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will contest as the ‘Mamata All India Trinamool Congress’ and will use a football‑player as its electoral symbol. The faction headed by Ritabrata has also received a distinct name and symbol, finalising the split.
