Bombay HC seeks Maharashtra govt. reply on Malegaon Deputy Mayor's plea against removing Tipu portrait from her office
The Bombay High Court has asked the Maharashtra government to answer a petition filed by the deputy mayor of Malegaon, who opposes the removal of a portrait of Tipu Sultan from her office. The complaint was raised by Nilesh Kakade, the opposition leader of the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) faction in the municipal corporation, and seeks clarification on the decision.
