'84 rules changed': Congress accuses Uttarakhand CM of handing power project meant for PSUs to Adani
Congress has alleged that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami transferred a 1,320‑megawatt power project, originally intended for public‑sector undertakings under the UJVN‑THDC scheme, to Adani Group. The party questioned the BJP‑led government's decision to cancel the original project, create a new opportunity that aligns with Adani’s Korba plant, and amend 84 tender conditions to facilitate the transfer.
