
Ex-Keralam DGP Tomin Thachankary gets four-year jail term in disproportionate assets case
Former Kerala Director General of Police Tomin Thachankary was sentenced by a vigilance court to four years in prison for possessing assets disproportionate to his known income. The court also levied a fine of 30.84 million rupees. The judgment concludes a lengthy investigation into his wealth accumulation during his tenure. Arrangements are being made to transfer him to Thiruvananthapuram Central Jail.
